Introduction:

DID YOU KNOW that according to a 2009 Pew Research Center study, only 33% of scientists believe in God.

The majority of this doubt comes from the fact that scientists are often questioning, data driven, type A, hard to convince, analytical people. Those who are often raised in the church grow up and find themselves asking questions like: where is the evidence, how do we know for sure, what if there is an alternative, how is this possible? A lot of people face these questions and lose faith, which to be fair, is easily done.

THE PURPOSE of this website is to show you the thoughts and beliefs of previous great scientists regarding Christianity in order to help you grow closer and more confident in your relationship with the Lord.

WE STAND ON THE SHOULDERS OF GIANTS. This is a saying that is very common throughout the scientific research world. It is referring to the fact that all of science is based off the previous discoveries and findings of the scientists who came before us. What people often overlook is the fact that many of these past great scientists where also devout Christians!

I CHALLENGE you to interpret this saying in a different sense: as well as using these individual’s scientific knowledge as a building block, use their ideas and beliefs to grow your faith in the Lord. Take solace in the depth of understanding of their thoughts as well as the simple fact that some of the world’s most creative, intellectual, and down right genius people were also very devout Christians.
